lead for b##n gimmicks

Postby lozey » Aug 21st, '07, 19:35

I bought Osterlinds 'Mind Mysteries Too' set and for one effect, he says to use a white listo lead in a b##n gimmick. I've got a gimmick, but I cant track down listo pencils in the UK. Has anyone found a similar alternative?

Its more of a greece-type lead then a hard lead used in mechanical pencils i think

It's annoying that Listo doesn't seem to sell in this country. You could try china marking pencils.

I've had a quick look and PaperMate China Markers seem to be available quite readily, although most of the online places seem to sell them in packs of 12, which is a bit much when one pencil will probably last you forever.

Try asking for them at art and craft places, perhaps.

This one's a little more expensive, but it's an extra option, if needed:

When i did some work applying lettering/logos to vehicles, we used chinagraph pencils to draw line so that things were put on straight. I think its nearly the same thing.
