Hi, quick introduction before I go straight for the kill, I'm Grasshopper been playing around with magic for four or five years now, I'm ex-Military, injured in Iraq in 2005, I now find myself disabled and with an awful lot of time on my hands. Rather than rot in front of the discovery channel I'm attempting to keep my brain active and fingers dextrous with the joy of cards, that and attempts at eloquence when it comes to discussing Richard Dawkins.
I am working my way through the Royal Road and am enjoying mentalism.
I recently brought some 'juice' from the magic that is a certain internet auction site, it arrived with full instructions (which I did read) and after a few minutes had samples ready. Now I have read the forum rules (searched for juice) and I don't want to break any exposure rules.
The thing is while I can do all the things the instructions say I need to be able to do, I just can't see anything on the cards. I tried different pressures/ammounts but only catch a glimpse of anything when the cards are tilted at a certain angle and the light catches the back just right. Certainly no 'pop out' markings.
After watching me staring at the the back of them for what seems like an age, my wife is convinced I brought a "keep an idiot amused" kit.
I would be gratefull of some advice. (on juice, not me being an idiot)
