Introduction from me

Postby Aluisious » Aug 27th, '07, 07:22

Hello

I got into magic about one year 245 days and eight hours ago. just kidding but it was about a year and three quarters ago. I heard about a guy who did this magic trick which i later found out to be jumping Gemini that was it i spent two whole days trying to figure it out without any magical knowledge then that lead to me buying a magic book and so on you know the story.

from then on i have been practicing magic and reading as much magic as i can, my hands on it is my intention to become a professional proformer. even if i do need another job to support myself.

I love watching all types of magic but at the moment only preform cards mentalism and some other assorted close up stuff. I soon want to start busking however i don't want to just do a whole bunch of tricks i want to have a routine where all the tricks link together and even more importantly have a good patter and it is entertaining.

anyway that was a long intro but now you know a bit about me and have a good day.

Welcome to TM

There are a number of threads on street magic as many people refer to it that will probably be of interest to you given that your ambition is to move into busking. Enjoy your time at TM.

hi thanks for the welcome i will have a look at the threads however busking is just for now to get my confidence up performing for "real people" so to speak also get some experience performing. in the end i want to move on from busking and do private parties corporate events and all that jazz as well.

plus although street magic is the new thing, i prefer the older stuff, most of street magic seems to be a new version of the old stuff any way and the old stuff in my opinion is usually better.

kind regards Aluisious
