The most ANNOYING phone ever - Samsung U600!!

Postby I.D » Aug 28th, '07, 12:07

How many times can you say f*** in a minute??

Im no beginner to phones..but this phone is having me tear my bloody hair.

I have had it changed twice in the last 2 months and the same problem occurs.

When I am navigating menu's, sending a text or searching for anything.. the phone kicks me out of EVERYTHING and keypad locks the phone. Not only that, but taking the phone off keypad unlock is the most anoying task in the world also!!

Reason - When you are in the middle of unlocking the keypad, it will unlock itself RIGHT BEFORE you do, so when you press the unlock button, you just LOCK the bloody phone again..

I have just spent about 45 seconds trying to unlock the phone AFTER 3 minutes of trying to keep the phone unlocked long enough to complete a text message.

As said, I am no newbie to phones and can work phones easily but this phone is causing me real.. REAL stress and my blood is actually boiling at this moment in time!!

I am told I can't change the phone until next July when my contract is up for renewal but Im going to call them back and make them change it as Im actually really physically and emotionally affected by not being able to do ANYTHING without it pi**ing me off!!

You should be able to cancel your contract and go somewhere else and get a different phone for the price of one months bill.

However, you could just threaten them with this and they should gladly change the phone for you, rather than have you released from their contract, remember, you are an asset to them and they will try to keep you as long as they can.

My friend was looking to get a new phone contract and they jumped though hoops just to please him so he could stay with them.
He basically phoned them up once his contract was ending and said 'I'm thinking about changing providers because Orange have said they can offer me this and this and this. (I can't remember what he said but it was a complete lie). Now unless you can beat that with extras, seeing as I'm a customer of yours I'm afraid I will have to go with their deal.' The woman said 'well we do offer this and this.' (Whatever the offer was it wasn't as good as the made up offer.) He then said 'No, I want ... minutes, ... texts,a free iPod e.t.c .' She said 'I don't know whether we can do that sir', so he said 'Tell you what, phone me back in 10 minutes with what you can offer me.'

She phoned him back in 10 minutes saying ' Yes sir, we can offer you exactly what you wanted'

Just get a new contract with a new supplier and ignore all the letters from your current supplier when you owe them 3 months money. That's what I did when my one broke {insured may I add} and they expected me to pay £100 for an insurance fee even thoe it didn't state that in the policy it said £40 but they made some c*** (not the best) up.They soon got bored of sending me letters

not always a good idea, I ignored mine for about a year and a half, then they threatened to take me to court, and it very nearly happened
