Hello Talk Magic!

Hello,
I am a new member to the forums here at Talk Magic.
I am new to the art of magic, that is as a magician-trainee, ha. I have always loved to watch performances, but have decided to venture into learning as well.
I have a few tricks that I know, Fraud, Greed, some Sankey effects, and a couple flourishes, but that is it for now.
I have only performed fraud and Paperclipped for audiences so far. I don't feel as though I am at a level to do public performances quite yet.
Talk Magic has shown to have a good base of information. I am mostly just lurking and reading older threads right now, but look forward to participating in current threads in the near future.

Welcome....what part of the world are you from? I am in Canada....and am a Sankey fan....he has tons of great effects if you want to keep rolling with his stuff....enjoy yourself!

moodini - I am from the U.S.. I do very much like sankey. To me he seems to create magic that is serious enough for any crowd, yet it contains just enough comedic relief.
Once I am in a position to pick up another dvd I will be getting the Sankey/Sanders dvd. I have read good reviews on it.
I am also interested in Wow by Masuda and the moving pips effect (performed by Cyril), both completely blew me away when I saw videos of them.
