The Effect APPLAUSE CARD.

This is a sign that is held up to the audience, and reads "APPLAUSE PLEASE" After a few applaud, revolve the sign over and it reads "LOUDER". Turn the sign over again.... and the audience reads "THAT'S ENOUGH".

Cost Price: £6.50

Difficulty 1
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Review

does exactly what it says on the tin, ideal for filling in or site gags and ideal addition for all working pro's.

Overall

card is well made and good value for the type of product, its obviouse to anyone how its done but like the breakaway wand the secret is not the apeal of this.
size a4.

I got one of these just for a charity thing I did and had my sister as an assistant turn it over. It was about the only thing she managed to get right on the night what with handing me the wrong ropes and knocking my table over, my advice is this, if you ever need an assistant, make sure it is well trained and doesn't look too much better on stage than you do or people will watch her messing around and not concentrate on you!

Having just looked at the picture, am I right in saying it's quite easy to make one of these?

If the audience are gonna know how it works anyway, then would a 'slightly rough round the edges' home-made version do the same job?

I can imagine you just need card, a printer (or even felt-tips) and access to a laminator at your local library...

What do you reckon?

true but at £6.50 includeing p&p you get one made for you.
not many people realy know the secret, though afte about the sixth time doing it they will have a big idea how its done, but then most people know how a change bag works if they think about it but this dosn't takle anything away from the affect.
