Business Cards - AGAIN!!!

Postby Jordan C » Sep 2nd, '07, 17:52

Righto so there are a few business card tricks out there, ones that used well will leave a good impression on whoever you give a business card to. I am looking for something that is tried and tested and a little....different!

Everyone knows my love for pyro effects however most cards on fire tricks dont cut it for me..... if there's one involving flash I'd like to know!!

I am going to be using different business cards for different situations from landscaping to magican and even some for my mates skip company so I need a special, unique and different, powerful business card production effect pls.

Any ideas.... what's new on the market..... or....... what has perhaps been forgotten by time?

Also thinking while in the shower....how about Jay Sankey in a flash....but with a business card stack...would include fire and a signed coin buring to your business card...just a thought

Have them blank on one side, then you can hand-print "blank" cards using the Carlyle turnover and Vernon push-through. You can also use them as billets for peeking or switching. Some Centre-tears work too.

Well, I thought a while ago about that.
Sometimes I do the flash deck production with a buisness card case, after checking i realize that the business cards are empty... so I do a deck color switch or depending on how many i need i do a Tebe color change, like explained from apollo and shoot ogawa.

a second Idea would be to get a stack of your business cards and get equivalents of them just blank and 2 mm shorter, like a svengali deck, easy to do and not that bad if u can do a nice second deal to not reveal the other cards,

My third and last idea u can use a one way forcing deck and tell them that they would get your salary if they don't pick the .. lets think... eight of hearts (always red cards..)
after they lost the little game u could show it... it gets a real laugh (did that just one time) and u take a sharpie and sign the card with phone number and name, has something original but u reveal that one way forcing decks exist, which most laymen don't know..

so long

I use colour monte, only I use my business card as the finally. I change the patter depending on the situation. When I worked in a bank I had patter where they had to keep track of the dollar. On the final revelation was my business card with Dollar signs on each corner. Cause when you bank with me....etc. When you start to think about it there are lots of interesting patter lines out there, and at the end you give away your business card.
