New Names Please

Postby crozboz » Sep 10th, '07, 23:40

Right, thanks to the recent sucess from this forum when I tried to find a name for my fish, I thought I would look for some help trying to name my next pet - a corn snake.

So any ideas?

So far, ive got:
Fuzzy Wuzzy
Fluffy
Rex
Rover
Mike
Mr Jenkins
Mr Rogers
Funzo
Burt
and snakey

But i dont think any of those really stand out.

I do like burt, but i named one of my fish burt and it died 2 days after we named it - so I assume it it cursed.

All the best,
Croz

I'm rather fond of the name Soufflé, although I'm not sure of its suitability for a snake.

Neither is Fluffy :?

My friend came up with Fuzzy Wuzzy, He thought he would base it on the poem:

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy wus he?

He then came up with an alternative version:

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a snake
Fuzzy Wuzzy bought a rake
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy wus he? Cos he was a snake!

:? It seemed funnier at the time.

All the best,

I'd definitely name a snake after Sooty's friend Mr Rathbone.

I had a melanistic corn snake that I named 'Totam' because he had markings like a totam pole. For pets i like the names:

Malachi
Harley
Chyron (pronounced K-eye-ron)
Isis
Jade
Onyx
Obsidian
Gothic
Ouroboros
Wvyren (an old name for snakes and dragons , but im not sure of the spelling)
