Mandrake finally levitates!!!

Postby Mandrake » Sep 11th, '07, 10:38

It's official folks, Mandrake has finally levitated - not just a piddly 3 or 4 inches but several feet in the air, totally surrounded by spectators, no wires, no ropes, no hidden gimmicks, totally random twists and turns were performed in the air and it's recorded on camera for all to see at http://pix.airkix.com/buypictures.php?y ... &tID=14:03. Just click on Sunday September 9th then 2.03.

(I'm one of those in that sequence but don’t ask me which one 'cos I don’t know. I can assure you that I was wearing full wizardly robes underneath (yeah, right!) but they wouldn’t let me wear the pointy hat or hold a wand. Spoilsports!)

PS Many thanks to my sons who aranged for all this as a Birthday prezzie from last year - I live in trembling anticipation of what they're dreaming up for this year's Birthday  !

No, I have to acknowledge that AirKix have the patent on the method! Check out the vids on that site and you'll see what a great experience it was.

Hey well done. No wires, no threads, mirrors, or special gimmicks. As promised.
However a reeally big fan might be counted as a special gimmick

All the best,

Well, every performer appreciates a large fan base!

Airkix is at Milton Keynes, open to the public, you just select the date and time you want to do it, arrange to pay and up you go! There's also an indoor ski/snowboard slope if you feel like being even more adventurous.

may have to have a stop off next time I visit Alton towers, It's a relief to hear it's open to the public and you didn't break in with wizardry powers for your own evil gain to find the method and then put it on youtube
