I was out last night, for a few drinks and a quiz...No Magic wot so ever as I had been banned by friends from bringing any and distrupting the evening.....

When we got chatting to some peeps, and this thugish Chav type said

"youre mate just said you do magic like for a job...."

"yes" I replied

"you any good" says thug

I tried to be diplimatic in my answer of "YES".......

So then he turns to me and says 2go on then do a trick"
My mates all looked at me, and I said to the bloke, sorry not tonight Ive not even got a pack of cards on me....

Hes goes to me, "well your a cr** magician aint ya"

To which I replied "what do you do for a job"

He looked at me funny and then grunts

"plasterer un I"

I looked around the pub we were in and by the old fire place there was a few dodgy cracks in the wall from the were the fire had burnt it for many years....

I looked at him pointed to the fire wall and said

"go on then show"

My mates laughes there ar**s off...his mates did to and then he left...

What a quality night 8)

Definately!

I usually have my girlfriend take a deck of cards in her handbag, haha.

Yeah, she's getting sick of it now! Mostly as I hardly ever take 'em out.

But you know, just in case =oP

stick it to the man.
i get asked this a lot and i usualy reply you don't ask a builder to show you his brick do you, I'm out for a quiet drink not a bragging match.
then if they persist ill do coin on shoulder.
i don't go to many clubs but when i do i don't have any problems as my brouther used to manage most of the bouncers for south hampshire so a nod from me and a big guy comes over to tell him to tone it down or go out.

Well, things are so bad for me that I ask Mrs Seige to add items to her gargantuous handbag...

(Chaps: please tell me that I am not the only one who has the problem of their other-half having a huge bag to carry round with them, full of space... but when you ask them for something, it takes them 2 minutes of rummaging around inside the bag to conclude that "I can't find it, must have left it at home")

The usual suspects are a deck of cards, a one-way deck, and NFW!

I keep a TT on my person, and I've recently started carrying a flash pad in my wallet too.

NFW! is just about the only packet trick that I think is worth the effort of lugging round to peoples houses.

Definately. My main issue at the moment is I'm using the ghost deck. I just love the way it looks... but I've been unable to find it on ghost stock. Would have been awesome to have it in the ghost gaff deck.

The reactions NFW get are still by far some of the best I've had, ever...

Shame, really...

Sym...

Can't you split some cards?

It would be pretty easy to make with a donor Ghost deck?!?!?!

Seige I can vouch for your bracketed question..

I mean how much space can a compact mirror, eyeliner and a lip gloss take up?? Then I get asked to put her lipstick in my pocket :o but I dont mind.. I guess its the privelege of being a hubby

I take a deck.. outlaw business wallet stuffed full business cards, kioku, sanctum and BTL.

My one packet trick is Richard Sanders TEN.. and 'seemingly' ungimmicked NFW type packet trick which ends almost examinable!! and happens in the specs hands.

and a TT. and as of today ET :D

ID your right, lipstick eye-liner and lip gloss dont take up much space but then my fiance has to get her things in there too :)

I actually carry a satchel/manbag most places, frees up the pockets but i only tend to carry buisness cards around atm

Kolossal Killer is my standard day to day wallet and I have a double blank card in a spare black envelope. That is plenty to freak out the odd person who wants me to screw with their mind :D

Great put down by the way

you know what, boys? For once you're right. Our things don't take up much room at all, it's all the stuff we have to carry for you that takes up the space.
