Has anyone just looked through the index of Tarbell for fun. I was doing that yesterday and its just amazing the things youll find. People will ask me if I can do something sometimes, and if I cant, Ill usually find it in Tarbell, right before some other fantastic effect. Really great and I recommend all of them (except for volume 5, which I also recommend... strange the way my mind works)

You are right about the wealth of effects in these books. I learnt Card On Ceiling from Tarbell and it'll do for me, Tommy, so I haven't bothered with any of the commercially sold versions.
A lifetimes worth of effects which will fill up your time and your act.

£20 for a book chock full of the cream of magic is a bargain. I noticed the whole set was available in the US for about $180 or less but the shipping costs add significantly to the cost. I may have to save my pennies, travel over to New York on a cheapo ticket and bring the whole set back!

You will not regret it. There is an abundance of material in these books and you will never tire of ploughing through them. They're like a treasure trove of magical effects.
There are things in them that I read about years ago but didn't perform and it's great when you have the urge to learn something new to be able to refer to Tarbell and learn it!
It's all there...
