Absolutely beyond belief...i dabble with 3 other magic forums, other than this one, the unfaithful swine that i am...

but i read something recently that beggered belief, there was talk of suggestion, i posted something, and i immediately recieved a pm from someone asking me "how do you do that - share your secret with me"..

i politely told him to go and fornicate, and then in another thread, he's talking about being a stage hypnotist - yet what i was talking about, was part of the "basics"...very odd...

and thankfully not on here, but elsewhere, as soon as you're mentioning you have some research or thinking about certain subjects, they're like bleedin' vultures pm'ing your box out asking for it - for free....toolboxes the lot of 'em...

and strangely, nowhere else feels like home, other than this gaff..

oh and just now, i wont say where - i've just seen someone completely expose a brand new effect and gimmick that costs around a hundred quid...pointless, pointless little fools sometimes...

anyway, just wanted to vent a little spleen about how strange some people are online...and the magpie mindset some have :D

I stopped viewing many of the other forums for very similar reasosn, I may have picked the wrong times but every visit I made showed arguments, stupidities and stuff which wouldn't last 5 minutes on TM. It's a shame because without seeing what the rest of the word are doing, we could become a bit insulated and smug. However, various messages that filter through seem to suggest I'm not missing much elsewhere so unless anyone wants to point out specific threads of interest to TM on other forums, I'll just sit here drinking quietly..... 8)

Really? I can't manage to drink without at least some noise. It's a dead giveaway. What's your secret? I'll trade you the new eLesionist flash-fart card reveal for it. PM me if you're interested.

Yes, I'm quite happy to limit my magic forum activities to here at TM. It's so nice and cosey that I feel no need to go wandering around other less civilised areas of the magical 'net.

TM - the magical equivelent of a comfy pair of slippers. Most of the time.

I have to agree, I couldnt keep up with another forum! I got all I need here, I use the net to find clips of performances and visit online shops etc but plan on staying here. I find it hard sometimes not being able to discuss effects without exposing as this is a public forum, there are times I would love to discuss technique etc I guess I will have to keep with the PM's. 8)

You mean to tell me there are other magic forums out there?! I couldn't possibly find the time to visit other magic forums as I already spend far too much time here.

I used to visit about a half-dozen forums on a regular basis... now days there are only three... TM, the Mental Image and TMW... there's a couple of the more "exclusive" forums I drop in on once or twice a week and a solid dozen that I may check on once a month but the three I listed are my primaries... what I call "Home Groups"

I visit and post on 2 main ones, 4 semi ones.
The main ones are here (TM) and the bird.
The the cafe, spook, scoundrels and IU.

Though I am probably going to be leaving the bird soon. Or maybe just forums all together, just pop in once a month if that. I get tired of seeing c*** (not the best) all day, if I wanted to see that I would become a port-a-potty cleaner.

My name's Jon and I'm and information junkie.

There. I feel better. I monitor a dozen or so fora and about as many private groups whenever I get a break throughout the day. I'm stuck slaving over a hot word processor, so it's no problem... I can stop whenever I want... I bet. Mind you, some of the cr*p people come out with in other parts of cyberspace really does defy belief.

I belong to two other forums. This is my main and favoured one, I also belong to Magic Bunny which I enjoy and The Magic Woods which I rarey bother to look at or post on.
The Magic Cafe doesn't interest me one bit, it seems to be full of idiots and heavy handed moderation.

I joined the Magic Woods just to have a look at it. To be honest, I'm happy here, and I don't have time to spend going through everything on another one !!

Oh yeah I am a member of the magicwoods forgot all about that. I like the dark moody atmosphere there though.

I ve posted a couple things on the bunny but upset some kids entertainers. Sometimes I go there while looking for a review.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Hmmm... Magic Woods is sponsored by, and heavily advertised on by a magic dealer with an attitude that's more rotten than Shane McGowan's teeth.
I should imagine a lot of reviews regarding this dealers products, which they don't like, get deleted rather sharpish. Puts me off it.
