I love For Andruzzi. It's one of the few effects that I do that I always love doing.
You have to keep your wits up, act, and have rapport to make this work. It's worth every moment of study, imo.
It's taught in Skulduggery and 7 Deceptions. Studying both along with the concepts in Building Blocks is highly advised if you want to try this.

I think once you can clearly see a discrepancy in the person's arm swinging and your actual pulse (I don't know about you, but I can feel my pulse quickening- not slowing- when I do magic for people), it's the perfect time to snap your finger and declare that the pulse is gone.
