Gone Nuts

Postby Chris » Sep 25th, '07, 16:33

Hi folks...at the weekend I had a clear out...and found randomly two brass nuts burried at the bottom of my Box of tricks...........

They wer in a plastic bag and so I knew they must be part of a trick....On closer inspection I discovered they wernt ordinanry Nuts...without fear of exposure...one of the nuts is gimmicd and the other isnt !!!

When or wer or what these are I have no idea...I can see some routines already that are possible... But what I want is if someone can PM me the name of the trick so i can see if i can find out what it is that I have cos potentially they look cool.........and I dont have the foggiest to how they got there, price etc ?

Thanks peeps x

Oh that is where those ended up....they are mine - haven't been able to locate them for some time - pm me and I will give you my mailing address so you can promptly return them....LOL.

Not sure what they are called exactly but have seen somehting like them and they do look/sound rather fun! When you get along with them be sure to pm me and let me know how you like them as I once seen these and considered buying a set myself.

look for links to nut on and of string and nut on and off bolt, depending on the type you have.

They'll doubtless be 'BREMA NUTS'. A google will turn up a little more info or ads from suppliers outlining the effect.

Oh dear, haha..

Sorry, but without a picture, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to differentiate between your nuts and someone elses...

It is called
brass nut escape
and you can get it for £8 from
www.topsecretmagic.co.uk

I have this and hated the routine it came with (it's very simple), so dressed it up a bit myself. Will PM you later. Unfortunatly it's time for work

Strangley I was going through all my junk and found some large bruma nuts. Incredibly well made. Just thought I'd share because I am bored.
