Dangers of palming!

Postby Lady of Mystery » Sep 26th, '07, 12:59

Can you believe it, I've been playing around this morning putting coins into the classic palm and I've manged to break not one but two nails

This magic lark is dangerous I tell you.

First my jeans ruined, now your nails broke, it won't be long before somebody is killed in a freak card to mouth incident :D

LOL!

Now that's funny!

I really did think it would be something SERIOUS!

(You bloomin' women and your nails... Mrs Seige broke a nail 3 days before our wedding, and you'd have thought someone had stolen her car the commotion she made!)

Poor Mrs Seige, I can't imagine much worse 3 days before a wedding. What did she do?

Well, she had already had a manicure a few days before. She broke her nail whilst making the favours for the table heheheheheh

Anyway, she managed to get a full set of french ones done before the wedding (which were like TALONS) so all was well.

Talking of the dangers of palming - anyone ever got caught by a spec with a card secreted. I reckon there are few things in magic more embaressing than a spec saying "I can see that card in your hand you know".

Pretty much, yeah... I was holding-out a stack of 5 ESP cards in a lateral palm (ready to add to a selection), and somehow, one of the buggers was a bit more springy, and shot out of the grip. VERY embarrasing.

I reckon I'm the only person whose ever gotten a paper cut from a playing card. I've got no idea how it happened, I just know that I got it from palming and it hurt ALOT!
