shell oil?

Postby Marvo Marky » Oct 1st, '07, 19:57

Hello everyone.

I have a problem with using shells.

Although I am au fait with a deck of cards/pair of laccy bands/box of teaspoons I am ashamed to admit I know very little about coins and have no practical experience with them. In fact I have avoided coins completely since I got into magic.

I have finally got up off my a*** and ordered Bobo. In the meantime, I have bought a few shells and I'm going to amuse myself with these until my book arrives.

My problem is relatively simple and is no doubt due to my ignorance on the subject. It also may expose the workings of a certain trick a little bit, so can I PM someone on this?

Regards,

Mark

..always thought it'd be a good idea for magicdiscoman to put out an expert at the coin slot type book on lulu or wherever...

all the tips and bits n bob(o)s he knows...plus the experience...go on!

Thanks everyone, Mr DiscoMan has solved the problem.

And yes, he should write a book. Maybe a Bobo supplement?

Has anyone given Bobo the DVD treatment (a la Royal Road)?

Thanks again.

Mark.

I agree with magicmonkey! the puns often start off well enough but soon become a load of abalone....

I'm sadly quite proud of that one

judging by the response to my post above i didn't think there was a need, but if anyones interested i could find the time to do a demo dvd / cdrom and some notes on coin work, a guide for lasy performers.
