The World's Best Magic Performed by the World's Best magicia

(Sorry about the title,i couldnt fit it all)

This is a collection of DVD's on many aspects of magic such as Coin Magic,Metal Bending,Tricks with everyday objects,Standup,Zombie Ball,Rope Magic,Card Warp and others.
Now they say that it is the worlds best magic...about that, well theyre not going to teach you the laser illusion or anything like that but still they teach some awsome stuff like some Card Warp variations.

I found the explanations very clear and as an added bonus the real magicians that created it are explaining it(most of the times).

This is a very good collection for anybody starting in magic or for the veteran to learn a few new tricks.

Right, due to request i will explain a few of them with more depth.

Lets take Metal bending... In total there are around 8 different methods clearly explained by Banachek,Richard Osterlind and others...
The performance video has a 24 style window separation so you can view both the effect and the reaction at the same time.

If we go to Card warp, there are about 8 different versions on the DVD
explained by Michael Ammar,Eugene Burger(only performance)Michael Close and others.
There is a feature i quite liked whitch was Super Practice whitch takes you thru the performance without any patter so you can just practice...

Other than that its a very good collection with a vast range of subjects on magic to choose from.
So If you want to learn the secrets straight from the pros,Buy this collection.
Ratings:1=run away 2=bad 3=reasonable 4=good 5=excelent

My Rating:4/5 Not perfect but very very good.

Hi Sly - thanks for the review.

Are these the World's Greatest Magic Set put out by L&L publishing? If so I agree there is a wealth of knowledge there.

Which ones have you seen? How about reveiwing them individually?

Yes i have seen one or two of these, and they are very impressive, masses on each disk and only 15 quid.

Bit of a brief review for the entire set though don't you think?

Yeah, super practice sessions are quite useful. They also feature on Ammar's Easy to Master Card Miracles DVDs.

To add to the above review, I also have the sponge ball DVD and the dinner table magic DVD from this fine set.

Sponge balls...

Some fantastic routines contained within from some top magicians, including eugene burger, daryll and even goshman.

All are well explained, giving you a large variety to choose from for your routine. They are useable "as is", or as I found, you gain many moves and ideas from this that can be mixed to create your own unique routine.

Dinner tables...

Some good stuff here too, although I wasn't quite as taken with it as the sponge DVD.
Performances and explanations by tom mullica, michael ammarr, david roth amongst others.
A variety of simple magic on this one, ranging from performing napkins and soft rolls to coins from everywhere. Signed coin to sugar packet is rather nice.

Overall I would give the sponge DVD around an 8 out of 10, and the dinner table DVD around a 6.

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh
