I have decided to create this new topic, because I have observe in this forum, that most of poeple are getting craisy to know how.....AND NOBODY REALLY AND DIRECTLY HELP THEM, because of the EXPOSURE EFFECTS"

Dont you worry, I AM NOT GOING TO EXPOSE anything publicly in here, but I have decided to give "A BIT OF MY TIME ONCE A WEEK"[b] to all serious poeple that really NEED HELP, for advancing in there magic, and that may now ,feel BLOCKT, because, nobody help you.

I remember how much was I suffering when I xwas 12 years old, and didnt have anyone to help me.
My only help was my grand father, he was the one that started me into magic at the age of 7-8
I even remember still, the very first trick with him.
but unfortunatly, he pass away when I was 11.

In Spain we had at the time, a very famous Magic Set box call
"MAGIA BORRAS", well i did got one of those boxes, but in about one week, i was getting allready bord (?) with it........

LETS MAKE ONE THING CLEAR FROM THE BEGINING
I will not reveal or expose anything concerning on HOW THAT TRICK WORKS, if the trick its self is on the market for sale.
THEN YOU WILL NEED TO BUY IT FIRST

I will ONLY give you tuition (?spelling) (help) for general enquiries, for slides, for ideas, for comments, help you with routine ideas? AND WHY NOT
getting dip into it, if you need to build a lets say, 10 minutes VISUAL CABARET routine;

When people ask for help on this forum, the usual response comes quickly in the following format:

Exposure is wrong, but these are the books, DVDs and tricks to look at if you want to find the answers.

And, in the long term, that's a hell of a lot more helpful than providing quick and specific answers.

Teach a man to fish and all that...

I don't think any self-important private mentorship can possibly be more constructive and fruitful than the kind of help that already exists here. I think Karl's proposal can only really benefit Karl's ego.

karl my friend i help people very often in this forum via mail, pm and directly on the forum so i feel very let down by your comment.

since you have decided not to reply to this thread i won't ask for an apology as your motives are genuine, but you like most people on this forum are unaware how often members like me and the mods answer questions, redirect people to usefull imfomation and warn people who pm just for answers and have no intention of learning magic, its a regular thing.
just take a moment to read my signature it clearly states my intention.

very well you will need 3ft of reciprocating cord, around £5, a 1/4 yard of felt around £2 and n45 ferrite disk around £20 and of cause my construction notes £10, after all cunsultancy fees are not free you know, or you could buy one for about £15.

Wow! that sets off a lot of warning bells. While I feel that Karl is trying to do good here, and his heart may be in the right place I feel he is going about it all wrong. I'd be weary about anybody who says that over the course of a rather small amount of time, over the internet is going to help out with a 10 minute cabaret routine "his example". How on earth are you going to get to know a persons mentality, ability, style etc on this type of format?

I personally like this forum I find eveybody entertaining and willing to help in a constructive way that is condusive to magic and its basic tennaments.

A post like Karls just kind of cries out. "LOOK AT ME, I'm better then everyone just ask me and I'll tell you how wonderful I am" I only post this because I worry about new commers into the field not really understanding what its all about and as of yet unable to make the distinction between good and bad advice, as that only comes with experience.

Also the fact that he does not want to debate or stand behind his words on this thread after he has started the thread shows a certain lack of character.

On the other hand, and yes there is another hand, I believe or at the very least hope that Karl is on the up and up, and if thats the case then I applaud him for his efforts (although I don't know how he can read the posts here and come to the conclusion that folks here are not helpful).

beside your inglish, witch other languages are you able to express with?
I think languages are to comunicate, not to do politiques.

I am spanish, and I preforme in 5 languages
spanish,english,german,italian,danish,catalan, and some arabic.

I did make a great mistake registrering in this forum, because I can see that "most" (did say "MOST", not all) of you spend more of your time printing merde about others, then to write about magic.

You should see the pms I am getting from poeple thanking for.

That every time that ME or Mr Lord Freddie write a new topic (never mind the topic or subject)
Sudently in TWO days we have MORE VIEWERS and answers, then all the others (above mention) in weeks or months

And most of the times , the answers are far away from the proposed TOPIC
with a lot of improper languages (by some), and a strange agressivity BY OTHERS (with out reason), and sometimes with even racistic connotations, concerning accents, spellings, and even sending insulting pm:

When I joint this forum, I was expecting to have fun, and probably meet interesting poeple to talk MAGIC WITH, and why not HELP someone, but I can tell you that except just very few, the rest of my time I spend it, in reading the most strange, and agressive and some very vulgar and agressive textes.
%MOST OF THEM NOTHING TO DO WITH MAGIC, witch i guess is the meaning for bein here.

And whats funny, is that most of those textes (Not all) come from poeple
that dont have nothing to do with magic (not all)(nothing in the profiles).

and others that have other jobs, and that like and preforme magic when they got the time, for friends or weekends gigs, but that they dont have the "B...s" to quit there jobs, and do the big JUMP.

Please , the concern ones, "dont bother answering this".
