This is just a standard torch but gives out a bloody powerfull beam which may be of use in some tricks. For example the maglite (2xaa) torch gives out around 9 lumens whereas thid little beastie gives out 60 lumens and its slightly smaller and more rugged than the maglite. I've had one now for nearly a year and generally use it when im at the back of a dark venue behind the mixing desk it just seems to light up everything. Eneb on a summers day i was helping a mate filim for a shot near Berick and this was a long shot with the camera about a mile away from north berick law (a big hill thingy) and i was flashing the torch and Tim (who was on the hill ) could see us straight away. This was in broad daylight!!! Heres some links anyway. Enough of me blabbing!!!
not cheep thease little beasties though, i just use a regular light bulb on a plug go figure.
not sure the magical significance but i supose you could palm it and use it to light a regular household light bulb or maybey use it to read predictions in envelopes
Was out camping at a bikers festival with this little gem and it was on the moors so no streetlights. I swear it lit up the clouds, the size is deceving. Whit wait i hear you say how bright is this little beastie!!! Well not as bright as this rather larger hand held beastie
http://www.knivesandtools.com/en/pt/cdfg.htm This goes up t 200 lumens, to put that in to perspective 1 table candel will give out around 9 lumens, and this will give out 200 focused lumens. Close to a car headlight.
