You will find that most people here do not do "street magic." However the tricks you do are up to you because there is no "best" trick for street magic, or of magic in general.

Do you mean you will do only card tricks ?
If not, you might want to add some rubber band routines into your list (crazy man's handcuffs, torn and restored etc ), that works pretty well in the street.

Well.. even simple sleight of hand with one coin will do well too.
have fun!

Why not grab yourself a decent book something like Mark Wilson or Royal Road, you'll have more tricks than you can shake a stick at to choose from then. :D

A great thing to do is to make a list of things that almost everyone on the street might have on them 99 percent of the time and think about what types of tricks you could do. Torn and restored money, torn and restored credit card. Wrap their cell phone in a handkerchief and hit it with a hammer and then restore their cell phone. Street magic is always a good way to try new things and see what works and what doesn't. It's also good to use a lot of visual stuff, for two reasons, one it's to the point and the spectator doesn't get bored, two passerbyers will see the effect and might throw money at you. who knows. If you are getting bored with the effects you are doing, spread them out, do a card trick for one person and then maybe move into coins. Ropes maybe...Or drag a huge zig zag box around with you and invite people to join you inside. Not go into the box, but literaly join your body back togethr.
When I am out and about I usually keep it simple, I carry a deck of cards a big coin or two, and a TT. Sometimes a pk.

I think Ellusionist How to do Street Magic DVD is a good place to start, others will disagree, but I thought it good.
