A great thing to do is to make a list of things that almost everyone on the street might have on them 99 percent of the time and think about what types of tricks you could do. Torn and restored money, torn and restored credit card. Wrap their cell phone in a handkerchief and hit it with a hammer and then restore their cell phone. Street magic is always a good way to try new things and see what works and what doesn't. It's also good to use a lot of visual stuff, for two reasons, one it's to the point and the spectator doesn't get bored, two passerbyers will see the effect and might throw money at you. who knows. If you are getting bored with the effects you are doing, spread them out, do a card trick for one person and then maybe move into coins. Ropes maybe...Or drag a huge zig zag box around with you and invite people to join you inside. Not go into the box, but literaly join your body back togethr.
When I am out and about I usually keep it simple, I carry a deck of cards a big coin or two, and a TT. Sometimes a pk.
