BBC Documentary - Escapology and Magic

Postby maggie » Oct 10th, '07, 11:31

Hi all

I'm working on a BBC documentary about escapology / magic and am looking for some archive footage. We're after 1960s black and white archive of a woman in a box having swords or spears passed through her (so not the traditional saw a woman in half stuff). Does anyone know of any such footage??

All help very gratefully recieved :D

Quite apart from the unique interpretation of the term "file sharing", how much are you paying for this precious material?

Best suggestion I can make at the moment is to contact the folks at The Magic Circle. They, or their members, are bound either have or be able to point you in the right direction of such footage.

Incidentally, Shahid Malik does a great version of this effect with wooden spikes and a cardboard box - check his website at http://www.shahidmalik.co.uk/

(PS Post now moved to Support and Tips from File Sharing)
