The FrediUp site was what I sent to FRK, along with the name of a UK seller, plus a suggestion that he could always paint one. Obviously, before the full story was out, I didn't know the last option wouldn't have worked.

It really is a bit of a non-event. Leaving aside the fact that the colour shouldn't matter (although, in my opinion, it does matter a little - watch some of Wayne Dobson's old performances), it is possible to paint the harder kinds of TTs using acrylic paints. It's not ideal if you're going to use the TT a lot, because the paint might flake, leaving a mess, but if you feel a psychological need to have a close skin tone match, or if the effect you have in mind can't be done (or becomes very 'angly') with a different colour of TT, paint is one way to go.

It is interesting how whenever you go to a magic shop they won't have black or brown TTs. Just ones for us "whities" :?.
