need help with the 5 card Ascanio

Postby Kemo » Sep 3rd, '07, 01:32

i've been working on a couple tricks that require you to preform a five card Asconio spared. but when ever i do this the double always becomes exposed just a little. besides more practice(which i am doin) does any one have any tips as how to avoid this?

a less worn deck perhaps? or applying more pressure to the double.
but quite simply, practise, play about with slightly different ways of doing it and see which one works

I believe you have to apply side pressure with you ring finger to the upper right corner. This should hold the cards aligned as you draw them to the right.

Not sure if you were joking about doing it faster, but here is a little tip, in magic, speed kills what you want to aim for is smooth.
