as a stand up comedian im looking to introduce a bit of magic into the show. im a close up magician.but dont want to put magic into my show for the sake of it.but at the same time my character is the magic skinhead.aka a violent tommy cooper,i only use one trick at mo cos im looking for funny first magical second.the trick i do is i tell agag about my mate who had a fight on a dwarf,thats true by the way and hes excuse was, he was a big dwarf !.i do maynes shrinker while telling the story.so im looking for that sort of stuff.unusual funny the quality of the magic is secondary.can any one help .im looking for one killer.im also interested in doing a double act, so depending of the quality of ideas i get back.i will be looking for some one who has original ideas and is interested in doing this sort of show,

Just an idea and it is funny by itself.

theres a few tricks were you draw a bowling ball or anvill on the pad then tip it out, you could even adapt this to a sledge hammer what every skin head should have in his arsonal.

on the same vien theres apearing sledge (thats an apearing broom with a sponge head pulled over the brush end.

erm cut and restored mike lead, with the sissors getting stuck on the lead always goes down well.

If part of a duo you could do 'Saw' where one guy tries to throttle the other. Maybe a bit dark .

Or maybe during an argument on stage where each performer is trying to hog the mike one pushes his hand through the other and grabs the mike stand (Gut buster)

saw is a length of thread is sawed into the neck and visably pulled out again.
you can do a version called choke wher a polo is put in you mouth and pulled onto the thread as you pull it out through your neck.

Actually one that just came to me as a good stand up piece is on Tomas Medinas geek magic. you take 4 tic tacs and put one in each tear duct, one up the nostril and one in your mouth and precded to regurgitate each one.
I've done this stand up and its great if you get an audience member onstage to hold a large metal tray up to the mic so that everyone can hear the ping as the tic tacs are spat out.....classy stuff
