Hi :D

Im quite new to the magic scene and i just wondered whether or not you were only granted access to the restricted if you were an established magician or had a very wide knowledge of magic.

all replies will be welcome.

in a word yes..... actualy no, it depends on your quality of posts and is not dependant on magical knowledge, more that you show that you can take knowledge you recieve and do somehing constructive with it.

in short if your a tell me how its done brigade member then dont expect to get in anytime this century, if you are a eager newbie with ideas of your own but are not sure how to technicaly achieve them then what this space you could well soon get the call........

The blurb on the front page describes things quite well:
Access to the restricted area will be granted to users who have shown a basic knowledge of magic together with quality contributions (reviews are a good example). Currently granted by moderators of the site.

In essence, folks who show a genuine interest in magic, not just in the secrets, who contribute reviews of items/products/people/whatever, who actually give something to the Forum over a period of time as well as receiving from it, will be the sort of folks who will benefit from the Restricted Area. At the moment, something in the region of 100 'quality' posts (not one liner jobs!) is the starting point and the Mods/Admin crew will review all this to see what the overall impression is.

Having said all that, whilst there is some good and interesting stuff in that Area, it isn't the Holy Grail or anything like that - you can get similar information, tips, hints etc from any quality magic book, the only difference is that those in the Area are originals from the TM members and, even if we do say so ourselves, really rather good!
