Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Somewhere out there in magic land is a dvd that just shows various methods of double lifts, I saw it a few years ago and its brilliant for discovering a preferred method. God only knows what it's called though, something like 25 double lifts, sorry I can't be more help but I'm sure someone else on here knows it's name.
I was working in a bar last Thursday, was getting the c*** (not the best) burnt out of me when about to perform a pass, had to wait a minute till I thought I was safe and still got caught, this **** would not take his eyes off the deck! You've just put the card on the top the smug **** stated. No I didn't I reply, performed a D/L and shut him the hell up. No move is more important for getting yourself out of trouble.
Personally I go for the classic thumb count or the Dai Vernon push over thingy. Practice really is the only advice anyone can give. It's a move that everyone thinks is quite easy, it can be done pretty well almost as soon as you learn it, problem is it takes an age to get beyond pretty good to perfect every time and thats where we all need to be (and I'm not  ).

Gregory Wilson's DoubleTake. There are also multiple reviews on it:

http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic6756.php&highlight=doubletake from 2005

http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic21761.php&highlight=double from just a couple weeks ago.

Both threads give good insight on it.
