Erm.... should this be happening?

Postby TheAge » Oct 24th, '07, 07:34

No wonder some think that magic is the tool of the devil. While learning and practising the Faro from Expert Card Technique (hell to all the naysayers! It works perfectly for me!), I started to feel a little bit of pain in my left middle finger's third knuckle. I can now bend the third knuckle independently. It also hurts a little. Maybe it's time to stop practising. (Perhaps that's why the ECT Faro is not recommended?)

Here's the video I sent to my soon to be horrified friend. Quite unpleasant.

I'd be quite interested to hear about other's magic-related injuries. Quite sadistic, I must be ;)

The only thing that comes to mind is some sort of repetative strain syndrome. I used to get pains up my forearm when I played the guitar and bass i bands a lot. I never had any restricted movement afterwards though.
It probably isnt that, but maybe worth googling to find out.

The only injury I got recently is the horribly eyestrain from the grotesque animated signature of joecarr14.

Any chance you can get rid of it?

Dude... it makes my retinas weep.

And oddly enough—this is true—I have actually coincidentally had another TM member request that your signature be removed because it's giving them nightmares!
