THE RETURN OF DAT

Postby dat8962 » Oct 27th, '07, 15:48

Hi everyone - Just a few lines to let you know that I'm back online after a six week absence.

We've now moved to leamington Spa and settled in although we've been without any TV and phone until last week, and without the internet until this morning. First stop had to be TM

I've now got to wade through 671 threads  that are new or updated since my last visit.

Nice to be back!

If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

It's so nice when an old face (old, as in TM chronology!) returns!

It was only last week I was looking through some posts and thought about adding thee to the 'MIA' list!

Thanks everyone

It's been a real trial of patience waiting for BT, Sky and Virgin media to do their collective things. None of them knew which services they could and could not provide at the new address and it became a real mix up. So much for companies selling technology.

I've had to leave Virgin Media which is a real shame as I had one of the very first ntl email addresses - I actually had my name without any numbers or funny characters but no more.....

All of my magic should be unpacked by this weekend and I can start opening the many many things that I ordered out of my redundancy money and then I'll write some more reviews.

I may even put a few items up for sale so watch this space......

Thanks guys

I never did get to real through all of the threads anyway so if I missed you both then welcome

The connection dropped out and when it came back the 15 pages were gone. I had only managed to get through one and a half so I suppose that it could be considered a blessing in some ways

Bye the way, I've been to a few meets of the Leamington & Warwick magic club and they're a nice bunch of guys. I have my audition at the next meet so I'll be getting the ropes out for an airing

I note that Faye Presto is lecturing at the Wessex next month - my old club, and I'm still a member so I'll be driving down for that one. Can't wait.
