Once again a beautiful fork had been taken off the shelves of my local woolworths!

I had just started producing some beautiful tine corkscrews with it, and now they have discontinued it....This seems to be a reacurring problem to us benders..........

Does anyone know of a new source of forks.........

The ones Im looking for are the particular thin necked ones that come with long tines and a slight embossed dotting around the edge of the handle, as these are lil beauties...........

would be interested to know the outcome as it would be nice to start with somthing thats no going to hurt me to much.

I drunkenly did a tine corkscrew the other night with some nice forks and ende up with a deep cut running the width of my finger...so eveytime I tryto bend a fork at the mo, it wrips open and bleeds again........

And as I have a gig at the weekend this is not so good, its also not good that I only have 50 forks left

i know 1 spoon bending effect but its not al that good

I've not bought any for ages due to my buying a huge number of Wilkinsons (a hundred or so) forks.

So if I am correct this is how the fork status is currently:

Asda forks - Used to be the make in the liquid metal dvd but now changed thus unusable

Wilkinsons - I'm not sure as I've not been in and checked but last time I went in (6 or 7 months ago at least) they were still usable but I've heard they've been changed

Woolworths - To my knowledge these have only recently come on to the market but have they changed them or were they just out of stock?

Tescos Value - Now these ones can be used but are alot tougher and need a bit of practice and some strength needs to be built up.

Any others people can think of? Sainsburies? Morrisons?

I will check if Walmart in the states still sells them...if so we could club together and buy a massive batch maybe? I'm sure a few TM'ers would be interested

Try your local hotel and pub supplier. They'll have loads of "cheap and cheerful" forks that are just right. Look in yellow pages or yell.com under hotel suppliers. They'll be dirt cheap too and sold in boxes of 12 or 20.

Wilkinsons- Yes they have definatley stopped doing them, as it was me who found this out !!

Tescos Value- I will have to re-try these ones......are they ok for twisting though?

I know that Instores had some but Im not buying four forks for a £5........

We need to get a manufacurers details and order a load between a few of us..........

As for the yellow pages comment....I like to touch my forks before I buy them...to see consistency etc ....but Ill check it out anywho x

With the tescos you can tine bend and corkscrew the handle (it's tough) but I think a tine bend maybe stretching it a bit...I never tine bend though

Poundland have got some really nice looking MALLEABLE cutlery in...

And they have the dotted pattern, as you describe...

Not really ever found a call for it. The rections I get from my current routine are pretty damn good and it's pretty tight and am not sure a tine corkscrew would add.
As the spectator is under the impression you are using your mind to bend the metal then corkscrewing the thick handle should surely impress more than a thin tine?

You would think that but anyone can grab the handle and get a good grip and just say "you must be well strong, you twisted it" but for a muggle to even get a grip on a tine let alone bend it is mere impossible........

But Im sure your routine still kicks ass lol......After all I did slice my finger off doing a tine corkscrew....So you get the last laugh there lol

Seige, as a magic dealer why don’t you source some ‘bendy’ forks and sell them through your site.
