Lorks!

Hello everyone.

Sorry about this but I need to tell everyone. :D

I’ve got an audition (of sorts) on Saturday. If it goes well I could get some regular employment. It’s table hopping during functions for a very big local company.

Not only is it the first time I’ve done anything like this, there are going to be 800 people at this function. Needless to say I’m s******g myself  and I've suddenly become very self concious. You see I’ve done little gigs before but nothing anywhere near this magnitude, especially for a huge multinational.

I’m going to do a bit of close-up stuff between tables on Saturday, and if the manager likes what he sees I could be there regularly.

Oh my god.

8 people / 800 people / 8000 people.....

There really is no difference if you are dealing with one table at a time.

Just do what you do best and enjoy it!

You should be nervous. Means you are human. You will do great and if going table hopping then you seriously are still performing for small groups of people.

Congratulations!

Well done that man.

It's nerve-wracking at first but once you get going and get some applause under your belt you'll be fine. Remember, keep it simple and powerful to start with and only go for the tricky stuff once you get your confidence up (if you feel the need to do anything tricky that is).

you will succeed, you will be great, you will enjoy every moment so says the great and all powerfull magicdiscoman.

120 am today i got a phone call from pakistan asking if i could go over there for a seminar, they could only pay flights and a few expenses totaling up to £1000 inclusive for a corporate event.
since the details are a bit sketchy i'll leave it for the time being but take it from me the amount of people makes no diference for table hopping and if its stage work your laughing all the way to the bank.

Thank you everyone! :D

I shall tell you all how it goes.

I've decided to keep i really simple. I'm not going to use my elastic band routine since it's not quite ready, nor is the fork bending. I'm kind of wishing I'd put in more effort in these over the summer.

So it's cards and a little bit coins only.

And I've lost my NFW! Pah. haven't used it for months and I can't find it. Guess I'll have to buy another.

Anyway thanks again for the nice comments. Expect a very desperate and worried post late on friday night.
