New Magic Convention

Postby Chris » Nov 1st, '07, 13:34

Hello there Peepz.......

I come from Milton Keynes, and we have this huge shopping Centre....

http://www.mkweb.co.uk/shopping/Display ... asp?ID=210

Every month they host some sort of exhibition in the Middle, in a place called Middleton Hall, this is a big exhibiting space right outside John lewis, were the footfall of shoppers/general public etc is huge.....

One of the most recent and successful events is Collectormania, of which many of you Im sure have heard of (if not see link below)

http://www.collectormania.com/

However its got me thinking that, when ever I want to go to a Magic Convention its either to far away or to expensive to spend money getting to or getting into.....Whereas the above events in MK are free....

Now I no many of you either are proffesional performers or Stockists of Magic either online or shop based....and all have amazing Knowledge to help me with Ideas on how to put an event together like this?

if anyone is interested in adding a new and hopefully succeful Magic Convention to the yearly calender then feel free to comment after this space...........................................................

Chris :)

Hi Chris

Top Secret Magic Day used to be in Milton Keynes, but the last few years it moved to Bedford. I would say that Bedford is still close enough to you not to warrant putting on a new one.

TSMD is already one of the more popular conventions.

Indeed, well I was unaware of the Bedford malarky, I will look into it.....

However I am currently performing for an event management company who are itching to do something in MK......

Thanks for the heads up though x
