Hello everyone! It is an honor to be a new member here. i actually found out about this forum by searching in google for studying tips on BoBo's Modern Coin Magic book and i found Gold thanks to Michael Jay and his time consuming and hard work on his in depth study guide and his helpful tips. i have not yet put them into practice as just having found this site tonight but i can tell just by reading every post he wrote on his study guides that he knows what he's talking about. So thank you Michael Jay if you ever read this for all your hard work and as a beginner to sleight of hand i thank you for the many hours and months you will have saved me. Anyways i guess i should introduce myself now lol My name is Nicholas, i am currently going to college and live in the state of Arizona. I just got into magic recently last year...then i moved and got out of it for a few months but i am back and putting all my effort and hard work into it. I am currently reading The Royal Road to Card Magic and following it along with Paul Wilson's Royal Road to Card Magic 5 DVD Set which so far is helping my improvement with shuffles and sleights. I am no where near where i want to be, but in magic there is always room for improvement and learning. And on the times when i am not playing with a pack of cards, thanks to Michael Jay i am going to study BoBo's Modern Coin Magic book and i recently bought (which i have just skimmed through) a copy of Modern Coin Magic 4 DVD Set which shows me how the sleights are performed, because the book is great, but for my brain i also need a visual learning aid to help. Thanks for having me on your wonderful forums and i look forward to talking about magic with all of you.

Have a Magical Day!

Thank You everyone for all your warm welcomes. Also Lady of Mystery i think Michael Jay should come out with a book i was reading over his studying guide some more and i think it is just brilliant! especially for someone new to the art. I think they should do a package deal with the book, with extra tips for palms and how to make the best of your time with the most results done by Michael Jay..i know i'd buy it!

Thanks again everyone :D
