Congratulations! The real fun starts when you can do can do 8 consecutive perfect out-shuffles. I used to do this. If your start with a new deck order cutting at 26 is a lot easier as you can glimpse and adjust before each shuffle. Alternatively, (I never tried this) your can practice and do 52 consecutive perfect in-shuffles and the deck is miraculously back to the originally order.
I do not find the perfect faro very practical (especially as it interferes with my other shuffles that are a bit rough on the cards). Now I use only the perfect faro, to set up card (e.g. alternating even/odd or black/red) after I have done the first sorting as disguise of the previous effect. I am not under pressure since I can adjust if it goes wrong.
Magic is slight of mind!
