Well not only did I have double (oh yes!) vodka and oranges last night, I also had some tequila!

Now I'm hard!

Beard,

I like to go for doubles too. More often 2 bottles of wine but if I'm feeling really hard I go for 2 bottles of widows ruin. Nowadays I struggle on that one sometimes :?

Tenko,

When Beard wants a drink to look hard he takes the umbrella out of it. Sometimes he even asks for the lime wedge to but cut in the shape of a gun.

And he has the ice all crushed up so the individual splinters are really sharp.

Thanks, I knew there was some rule about being 16 and being old enough to drink with food.

These always seem to come around very quickly, it is next weekend after all.

All the best,

Hi Aishraf again,

We meet up in a pub, most drink, designated drivers or under age look on enviously. We chat magic, sometimes entertaining the locals. Then we move on to a local inn famous for cheap ale and continue as before.

It has been suggested that some will perform street magic and videos will be taken but this hasn't occured so far. Still, a lot of locals have been entertained at both venues.

A good time is usually had by all, regardless of drinking or not. Come along and see if you like it. We next meet in Wetherspoons at the railway station on Sunday 18th Nov at 11am. Probably moving on after a couple of hours. We've had double figures on occasions and once Lawrence was the only one there, so its pot luck as to how many will be there.

But we do have a good laugh.

Probably time for a rain check on who is going this time ? I'll be going and James will also be coming (that's my son for those who don't know).

Lawrence, Lauren, Mark, Keith and the others. Who is in this time ??

Lawrence you are not more dedicated, unfortunately I had a prior appointment last time, I was fishing in Wales.

I'll put you down as more regular, but that's probably down to your diet :? He he he.

I'm going to the auction in Derby on the 20th, let me know if you are interested.

Well, I will try and maintain my record as least easily put off.

If you remember I dissapeared quickly at the last meet due to what later turned out to be food poisoning. I had a temperature of 102°. I had been sick twice before i set off and yet i still made it. Albeit for 1/2 an hour, but still. See you on Sunday!

All the best,
