Works for me! They don't realise I've forced a card on them, they think that they have thought of it naturally.

I would just like to correct myself...

I said that Think-A-Card and The Last Laugh are the same trick. I was wrong. Think-A-Card ends with the card on top of the deck, whereas in The Last Laugh, the card is sandwiched between two cards...less impressive in my oppinion.

As for the JOKER who thinks I own Penguin...most of my DVDs are from L & L Publishing. I copied and pasted my list which included over 100 Penguin downloads. Who's bragging? For some of us...$$$ is not an obstacle. You see, TrueWizzard, not everyone is a strugeling magician...

And what about BOOKS? Do I need to copy and paste my collection...to have some JOKER tell me that I'm bragging? I'll have THE LAST LAUGH (no pun intended)

Not sure why you say this, why you'd want to post a list of all your books, or who the JOKER is you refer to.

Basically any references to books, or other items in a collection, should be in the context of, and limited to, the topic of the thread. Moderators would have to edit and trim if posts are excessive in size.

That was a comment letting you know that your List was way way way off topic...

Seeing as your list was removed its hard to comment on it. But the list was OZ, Sankey, Penguin Instructional, Garcia, I was making a very accurate observation which was not a "direct comment" or accusation of any kind but whatever you "think"

As for the JOKER who thinks I own Penguin

I never said you owned penguin I said Purchased out as in stock.....

Looks like you basically just Purchased out Penguin Magic
seeing as just about every Dvd you own is Penguin Magics

most of my DVDs are from L & L Publishing

Consider Most of the mentioned DVD's are Instructed by Penguin magicians..I think thats interesting

Who's bragging?

Considering the thread is about a trick similiar to Think-A-Card and you posted alit of DVD's.....I think that would be you

For some of us...$$$ is not an obstacle. You see, TrueWizzard, not everyone is a strugeling magician...

A. I have a large library of books
B. In order to be a "Struggling Magician" I think i would have to have declared that im a professional Performer and in my profile i label myself as a Skilled Hobbiest, and i have exclaimed over and over that i have done close up performances at a local cafe but that wasn't my title, I was the manager there, I just did it as a "treat" to myself and the customers.

And what about BOOKS? Do I need to copy and paste my collection...to have some JOKER tell me that I'm bragging? I'll have THE LAST LAUGH (no pun intended)

A. You already "copied and Pasted" your dvd collection, So where would the issue be? Other that this isnt the topic for it.... So what was your reasoning for posting it? Exactly!

B. My comment was not directed at you, but it was a general comment i was refering to the replacment of books with downloads, free websites, and Dvd's, When a Instructional Video is watched they leave out important details about the original effect or the creator of the slights, I love the history of magic as much as magic...But again if you think it was specific to you and not general...thats on you...

But I think Books are alot ; alot better.

Thats my oppinion and im sticking to it

I see...

So you'ld rather learn from a book all the nuances surrounding ...as an exmaple...face sitting...rather then view it in high quality resolution on your DVD.

Ok, to each his/her own!

If you think Magic is Only about the effect and not the "Nuances Surrounding" then youv'e got alot to learn.

There Important aspects of loving magic, You either like magic or you like learning the effects, I love Magic, so i like knowing the argued creator of the Marlo Tilt was vernon, But who actually teaches that in video? most assume its "marlos" Tilt"

Did you know that a magician as early as 5000 years ago restored a cut off ox head?

Did you know cups and balls dates back to possibley Early greece which cups and rocks were used, and the same magicians also performed numerous rocks to mouth routines similiar to our modern Cards to mouth.

Just some little things to think about, Thats not important? To me thats just as important as the effects themselves.

If you dont know these "nuances" then Im afraid my friend...you are the "Struggeling" Magician...In my oppinion

Ok, to each his/her own!

Agreed
