Hi all - I'm a 27 y/o maniac from Leeds, currently working on a duo called Devilish Deeds which we'll be debuting properly in the Summer (like the beer, we don't let you have it until it's ready) and working hard on learning to do this magician thing as best as I can. You may have encountered me elsewhere on the web as Helen Held (my alter ego).

I'm a lifelong magic fan and picked up dribs and drabs like everyone, but only got around to seriously learning magic and designing illusions from a performance point of view at the beginning of this year, and that's because the girl I asked to help me mess around with my illusion build projects turned out to be so enthusiastic and on the same page creatively that we ended up putting an act together, forcing me to learn as much as possible so as to look the part. Before that I'd done some juggling, fireeating and escapology alongside other weird stunts and performance art designed to keep life interesting. I have been on the run from being a jobbing professional musician for some time, now I've found my niche earning my living as a music teacher and vocal coach, allowing me to perform on my own terms for passion.

I found out about this board because Dave Slater of the Loony Bin showed me a printed out thread from here discussing his establishment, so I thought I'd drop by.. nice to find a UK based magic board!

(??A : ??S) where as the ??A = your age, and the ??S = your status, chosen from the list below...

So, for example - your Location could be

Dave slater is such a nice guy, i live about 35 minutes down the road from leeds in skipton, in fact, if you want to come see me perform, i will be at the Leeds City Varieties on the 4th June (my birthday, heeheehee)
Show starts at 2pm (doors open at 1.30) and tickets are £3.50 each, if you can get there, send me a pm, ill give u mi number and we can meet up!
