Postby MrSvengali » Nov 24th, '07, 04:54

I'll post it here so if any mods wanna give it to the owners you guys are free to use it if you want to later down the track.

Thanks.

Tm goes Blue peter. Yeap not every magician is a card trick fanatic I only know 4 or 5. Could you do something a bit more mentalist for me and the good Dr? Something to do with ESP would be nice.

That brings me to a question of interest....is there what could be considered a "universal symbol" that covers all genres of the art so to speak?

I suppose we all see it from our specilized segment of choice and I was wondering - with my limited knowledge of the other facets - what if anything could be considered universally acceptable?

That would be a completely blank badge 'cos you'd both know what was meant without actually seeing it  !

Person : Whats with the blank badge.
Mentalist : you arent a mentalist then.

Then headbutt or do what you need to dispatch such a person. I like Greedo's idea.

Just FYI, there was a previous thread on this sort of idea at http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic8816.php

You could use other less obvious and more abstract symbols and or graphics...It is interesting that the magic circle uses the zodiac signs....but surely TM could use a nice bit of abstract imagery?

I think it depends on how we want TM to come across, for fun and friendly you could go for rabbits and top hats or for deep and mysterious you could go for strange symbols.

I don't really think it has to sum up all types of magic, just how we'd want people to see TM.
