Hiya, Just a quick one, I have recently opened a new pack of 1800 vintage bikes, and 3 cards are mis-printed, ellusionist are asking me for the order number all the emails and everythihng. I didn't order them from there, i have sent images of them, They seem to be really un-helpfull for some reason.
Anyone else had any problems with them, and anyone know what i can do about my cards ??? :(:(

I've bought ellusionist items but not bought them direct from ellusionist but I did buy some cards from another online shop and they were missing cards twice so in the end I got a refund, your best bet is to send them back to the place you got them from and ask for a refund or replacement

Ye, it was a guy of ebay, and i dont have his details anymore....At the end of the day, they were fully factory sealed, so it wasn;t he fault, He had abviously bought them in bulk for cheap, and flogged them on....at at the end of the day, they would have started up at the Ellusiont 'head quaters' I could always phone up USPCC in Cincinitti......

Ye, i've got thosands of bikes and bike decks, gaffs etc and i never ever had a misprinted card...obviously just a dodgy batch....

hopefully ill be fine.... btw does anyone know the best place to buy army of 52 because although people say its nto worth it, it teaches you quite a few sleights and if its for crimbo im not payin! because i cant find it really that cheap in england... ??

Royal road to card magic would be a lot better for learning sleights than the army of 52 dvd imo

i know but ive ordered it now and the dvd teaches specific tricks....

anyway SHADOW MASTERS?!! they look incredible, shame there a rip i might buy some once the price has gone down....

haha i did that before and found nothing good... anyway ive ordered
3 more ghost decks, gaff ghost deck, army of 52 and ghost card case... didnt come to that much either.... MAGICmagic have lots in stock and at fair prices... though they didnt have the dvd i found that somewhere else.... btw can anyone believe how much you have to pay at ellusionist to get a black ghost deck that will be out in several months for about $8... the only difference being '1st edition wrote on one box' i mean its crazy... :S

oh well, have been back and forth to ellusionst, and have told me that they are not ging to replace my 3 faulty cards, A) because i didnt have an order number from them and B) because i have no emails from them (?) :-S - not a happy bunny....

do you have any piccys of the mis-printed cards - they could be really cool for an amb card routine - all you need to do is force the misprinted card, (use a copy deck) then bam, its messed up and all mis-printed.

just a thought, saves a wasted deck - either that or just use the cards from the 1800 deck in a amb card routine:

* pick a card
* blah blah blah
* i'll make it age 150 years
* revelation of their aged card, plus, they can sign it and keep it

Again, just ideas, but I think I'd be annoyed if I got a bad deck

yeh id be annoyed but you could say watch this card very carefully from behind, get a copy, do an erdanese colour change then slide your hand across and it would look like you slid the back along or w.e and show them its still there card though they obv couldnt sign it... be imaginative!

though i still agree its annoying... :/

for some reason i can;t upload the photos, but the 2 of clubs...is shifted to one side, i.e not printed on the card fully. and the 2 jokers still have the cut lines on the bottom i.e '-----' tried to find a use for them...perhaps a small bonfire?
