magic for two year olds!!!!!

Postby connor o'connor » Nov 29th, '07, 23:02

Gosh, against my better judgement I agreed to do a show for the birthday of a two year old. The oldest there was two and a half.
I did it for a freind and told her that if the cat walked past the kids may all just get up and follow it, but I could not deter her. :?
Anyway it all went well and was fun. Managed to keep all the kids (8 of them) attention for a full thirty seconds, although not all at the same time.
The parents loved it. The kids stared at the strange man and I kept it to 20 minutes. (40 if you count the retreival of props) I finished on frady rabbits (hippy hop rabbits). They just loved the fact that there were rabbits and when I changed them to red and green they were dissapointed that the black and white ones had dissapeared
Loved doing it and she gave me a few quid for my efforts 8)
Anyway in summery don't do it. Keep to age three or more. If it were not for my kid, the oldest there knowing what to do and trusting me when I got her up front then it could have been a nightmare.

I can't really believe that you pulled it off!

I have enough trouble stopping my 2 year old nephew screaming blue murder when I wont give him Milky Stars (or whatever they are!) and let him slap my baby-making-bean-bags.

Well done, that man. Well done!

It's hard work indeed! I have 20 month old twin girls, and from my own personal experience, they LOVE D'lites, can't get enough of them, and Rocky Raccoon as well.

They didn't think much of my twisting the aces though...
