Myspace, Facebook Vs Bebo

Postby DivinityMagic » Nov 30th, '07, 02:43

Ive noticed alot of Magicians I recognise to be on Myspace and some of our American Cohorts to be on Facebook, and as large as the BEBO community is now, not very many on there.

SO, I pose a question..... MYSPACE... or BEBO?

Personally I prefer bebo, although im a judas and subscribe to all 3.

Anyone on Bebo feel free to look me up.

Myspace is a horrible, horrible website. Takes ages to load, full of bugs and raving perverts.

Sadly it looks like Facebook is going the same way... it used to be so good

...can you guess which I use?! And yes, there are magicians on Facebook... I got added by Doc Eason a month or so ago!

Facebook and myspace are both useful if you are an entertainer. I have received some bookings off both of them from people that have found my pages and have been interested in what we do.
These were good gigs too at decent venues. I see them only as a networking and marketing tool. Some people use them as a social one but not being very sociable there's no point in me using it for that!

Exactly right, Lord Freddie. Myspace is a horrible mess, and Bebo isn't fantastic, but as you have said, it may be worth setting up a nice page on all three as free advertising - it certainly won't do you any harm, and if you've had a couple of gigs from people looking at your facebook account, your time and effort has been well spent.
