I have seen the badly shot demo of hypnotrick but saw enough to recognise a potentialy great effect. Has anyone bought this or seen it in action? Review please

Mandrake, you seem to be the only one that talks to me nowadays, thanks for the link. I did do a search but as we all know the search button is also a master of mis direction. That reveiw made great reading, big respect to Freddy for sticking to his guns.

Our Search function certainly has 'interesting' attributes at times- that's half the fun of using it, it's a bit like Russian Roulette !

Actually I half remembered that a Review had been done but wasn't sure until I found the link - a failing memory is certainly, er, something or other, I forget what exactly...........

Trickyfied - don't waste your money! It's really as bad (actually worse) than the demo suggests. You'll be gutted when you receive it, it's unusable and has a far too obvious gaff. I received a lot of flak for being honest about this atrocious effect, all the hassle is worth it if people are saved from wasting their money!

Let's put it this way, the camera angles in the video are carefully chosen as are the seemingly drunken spectators. There are no real world videos of this effect because the chances of someone shouting out one simple phrase will ruin any performance mystique you have created and make you a laughing stock. And there's no out from it!

It's the worst effect I have ever bought and remains firmly out of my repotoire.
