Magic?

I was trying to work out whether this was a magic site or not but decided the chap in the role neck jumper looks uncannily like the owner of the swingers B&B in the League of Gentlemen, Alvin & Sunny?

Anyone else agree? It's truly uncanny.

I think this site is a special effects stage magic store. I found the "Electronic Wizard of Oz" which flashes "BUY ME" to show desperation and unprofessionalism. Probably would stear clear of the site.

He does look like the character from the League of Gentlemen though, doesn't he?

Thanks, I'm glad someone agrees (and knows what I'm talking about). If it was a reference to Ugly Betty then I'm sure loads of yootoobers would have come out in agreement.

Oh my god, but have you read further?

I notice that he places the both of the contacts for this "ELECTRIC MAN" device on his belt, and points out: "My accomplice can touch either one".

Is that so, Mister Electro Perv? The perfect excuse for what seems to be happening in the demonstration picture.

Yeah exactly my point.

Or more to the point, as you have pointed out, look at him.

I certainly wouldn't trust him. His rollneck is too tight. I bet he is wearing tracksuit bottoms and brogues.

Mind you, the young accomplice obviously gets his mam to cut his hair.

I like this description of this 'MAGIC' item, I think I'll sell my ET and get it

Quote:'This is cool! Here is a picture of High-Tech Magic's Magic Pyramid. There are 75 LEDs on the three faces of this pyramid. Inside are the electronics that make the LEDs flash in a sequential manner. When you turn it on, the bottom row of lights flash, then the next row, then the next, and so on up to the top. One can vary the speed for a totally cool effect. Tell your friends that you were abducted by aliens and they gave you this beacon and it would start flashing when they were ready to come back to get you!'

And from their Q&A section:

"High-Tech Magic will NOT provide a refund for broken glass products after the customer receives a glass item shipped to them intact! We have found that young children do NOT treat these products as GLASS products and have played with them hard and bumped them, breaking them"

Why would you let a child plpay around with something like this?

Just plain odd...

For those who aren't aware of the League of Gentlemen, compare him to this:
