I'm a bit concerned about some of you who seem intent on attacking your CUPS in your new year resolutions.. I am concerned because our magic industry might suffer a lull in the first few weeks of 2008 as you all try to be goody-goodies and we can't have that..
So.. I have decided to launch a one-man-reaction to this trend and my New Year Resolution is to spend the money I am saving having given up smoking (it's been 7 weeks this Friday!) on developing my new and ultimately healthier addiction to CUPS.
I didn't even know there was a recognised syndrome until a few weeks ago thanks to you lot so I'm quite delighted that I am not the only one and am now determined to enjoy myself and "it"!
That brings me onto my second resolution.. to enjoy my magic more in 2008, whilst at the same time, performing more magic and ultimately (the third resolution), getting paid for it.

Personal Level is to be a better person

Magic Level is to take Michael Jays advice and save up to purchase better quality items not just lots of bits you will never use

CUPS ???? ..... I spit in its face .... I CAN resist (I think) - and on that note, I'm off to JB Magic in Blackpool this Saturday .... and .... well we'll see if I can resist or not  .

Anyway, onto New Year's resolutions - I've only one:

I must drink more beer  :?

..... and whilst on the subject of beer - have you ever noticed that there are 24 hours in a day AND 24 cans in crate of lager.
Coincidence ???? I think not my friends  .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

On a personal level, I need to revise for my first History AS Module exam, and get the A that everyone says I can get. Also, to get to know a certain person a little better
Magically, I'll be performing more often and in front of more people at a time, as well as working on what i have already.

James, 19, Lifelong student of magic and will carry on learning for the rest of my days if I'm a very lucky boy.

Hold on...hold on...I thought this was new years resolution not a meeting of the secret society intent on overthrowing elected moderators staging a coup d'etat if you will...but still now I'm here...I may as well stick around and see who wins therefore enabling me to sit on the winning side of the fence...

ahhh c*** (not the best) I've said that out loud haven't I!!!!

Survive the car mending/MOTing, xmas recuperating, tax bill paying financial crisis that is January.

Vomit on live telly.

Not spend any money at all on magic other than supplies and earn an enormous amount of money from said hobby.

I never make New Year's Resolutions because I just can't keep them. I go with the moment I guess. I don't plan ahead too much.

Well I know it's boring but smoking is definately going.

I failed last year's resolution of not falling in love, and here I am broken hearted again... So maybe this year I'll also resolve to learn from my mistakes!!!
