Has anyone ordered from...

Postby Lord Freddie » Dec 13th, '07, 23:12

... www.iwantoneofthose.com ?

Are they reputable? The reason why I ask is that I ordered something from them (a Christmas present for someone) a week ago. Recevied an email to say the order had been acknowledged but since nothing...nought...zero...

Their website doesn't have any indication as to when or if your order has been desptached, they don't reply to emails and worst of all, their "customer service helpline" leaves you hanging on for half an hour until you give in and hang up after listening to poor James Bond parody adverts telling how great they are and how quick you receive your order.
Which just winds you up even more!!!

I was wondering if anyone else has used them and whether they are a dodgy dealer or not as I'm starting to suspect they are some sort of cowboy operation run from some geeky kids bedroom.

yeah, they worked fine for me when i ordered mate...

though i have noticed recently, anything that's letterbox size or bigger takes about 3-4 days longer round my may...

small packages are fine...anything bigger, a delay...

Used them a few times. Never lightning quick on delivery but perfectly acceptable.

Along with Firebox.com, I've found IWOOT to be a great company. They even sent me their 'hard copy' catalogue this year, from which I got a few stocking fillers.

Your dosho is in good hands with them, I would believe

Thanks, I hope it does arrive ok. It always annoys me when you can't contact a company and emials are ignored, so fingers crossed.
They have the most annoying holding recording of all time!

I've ordered a few things from IWOOT on Wednesday and got the items this morning. I also recieved emails when the order was completed and despatched. It seems they have dropped the ball with you Lord Freddie. I'm sure you'll get the items you ordered, although it is incredibly frustrating when you have problem with deliveries. Grrrrr

Yes, it's really frustrating when no one replies to your emails and answers the phone. I don't think I'll be using them again after this....

Funny how their 'sales' option answered the phone but the customer service one is always busy!
A couple of hours ago they said someone would call me back "immediately" but alas not.

My first and last order with them, I think. In my experience VERY poor service. I paid four quid extra for next-day delivery!!!

Can't add much except I've heard they are trustworthy. Adverts on the radio and all that.
