Someone else who appreciates the finer things in life- magic and pro wrestling. I admire your taste sir.
Unfortunately, I don't think the analogy of magic and wrestling works here. Sure people generally know that wrestling is choreographed, but I would liken this to the fact that most people know that there is no such thing as actual magic (in a Harry Potter sense), rather than people with an awareness of sleights/methods etc. I would liken 'smart' wrestling fans to non-professional magicians- ie people with an interest who appreciate the workings of that particular form of entertainment (and a degree of participation reflected in the increasing number of wrestling fans taking up training, putting on shows etc). So you would have a 'smart' wrestling fan appreciating workrate, trying to spot blading etc, much in the same way a magician can appreciate an effect in terms of technique, rather than effect.
'Exposure' in wrestling terms, would then mean widespread knowledge of things like workrate, booking, spots etc among lay-people, rather than just knowing 'it's not real' and while this may be the general way of things on message forums etc, from experience i would argue that this is not the case in everyday wrestling fandom.
So from all of this it would seem that people knowing that wrestling is choreographed does not equate to exposure of magical methods, but rather to the knowledge that 'real' magic does not exist.

Sorry for the convoluted post- if anything doesn't make sense I'll happily try to clarify it

I'd like to see if it's possible to look at the exposure question from a fresh angle while also keeping things friendly and enlightening. Fingers crossed.

I've drawn this graph in the hope that it can serve as a tool for answering the question dispassionately: How would the graph need to be changed in order to more accurately reflect your own views about how widely available magical secrets should be?

You can either just propose changes to the shape of the red line, or else you can challenge the assumptions behind the graph itself.
