Hey I was just at an IBM meeting and they said he World Magic awards are on tonight. One of the guys worked as tech at it and said there is some good tricks on it and of course there are some pretty dumb ones. It is on at 8PM for thos of you in my side of the U.S. (I live in CA)

So what did you guys think about the Awards? I really liked the performance of the guy who won the award for the most original magic.

Brandon, this Forum is based in the U.K. and I do not believe the show made it across the Pond. However, I did watch the show. The only performance I really enjoyed was by Kevin James. As, for the rest I was not all that impressed. The escape artists were not that great. The only chuckle I got was from the host Roger Moore, when he attempted to imitate Sean Connery as Bond.

No, we poor cousins in the UK didn't get to see this event - one of the satellite channels may pick it up at some point but until then we can only envy your good fortune. Apart from the Roger Moore thing, of course !
