Looking for a card clamp

Postby Palmer Eldritch » Dec 19th, '07, 17:45

For a while now I've been using a vice from my toolbox but I was wondering if there is a specialist product for playing cards out there; something that will apply an even force and not damage the cards. Any ideas?

As BB said, only a porper card clip will do. It might be pricey but it's definitely worth it.

Ye they're about 15 quid but worth the price I think. Definately get a porper and put the vice back in the box :D

I've always used a stamp press. Stamp collectors use them, although I no longer do anything that might require such a thing. This was back when I was peeling cards.

yeah, we need to tighten up on our poor sence of humour in these forums....ok that was too bad, I will be quiet now :P

But seriously, (yeah, after that comment i AM gonna be taken seriously) I just use a card holder (like the metal ones from Ellusionist) and my cards stay good for AGES (mind you, im not a full timer or anything...)
