The "thoughts for this year" thread in Miscellaneous has started to drift into things written on tombstones, which made me think, why don't we play
Tombstone? I'm talking about
Tombstone, the game, by W. W. Cooper.
It's a game that you are only allowed to play once in your entire life. Once you have played it, you are never allowed to play it again. The most you can do after that is to say what happened the first time.
The game consists of this. Imagine that your tombstone contains your name, your date of birth, your date of death, and one word of your choice. Imagine that this tombstone is the only record that you ever existed. All you have to do is answer the question, what is the word on your tombstone?
I've played it before, and when I did I opted for a maniacal laugh.
Mwahahahaha! That's my word.
