Hello again people. After a year or maybe more I'm back to the magic community.

On monday evening, i was at a party/function with my Dad's work. I got there a bit early with my Dad where we started playing cards. I gave my brother a call who was to arrive 30 mins later, and got him to dig out a deck of Bikes, and add a couple of dupes.

I went through a few basic routines on my for 5 minutes, just trying to remember my ACR and 2CM etc. Half an hour later i was confidently walking up to people and doing a few effects for them. The reactions i received were alot more impressive than i remember them to have been from a year ago.
The best bit was talking to people, who i'd never met before, as if i'd known them for a long time right after making their card disappear and reappear in my pocket.

I forgot how easy it was to bring people down to the same level as you and, as corny as it sounds, make them just stop and smile for a minute.

I returned home that night, practiced one handed cuts and my muscle pass (which, not suprisingly, is a bit rusty) and once again, I'm hooked. You'll see me posting in the 9odd topic and may even put up a review after crimbo.
