Yes I'm having ISP woes

A few months back the small ISP I was with got bought out by another small ISP. They have now decided to go bust which gives me 10 days to find another provider.
Unfortunately money is a bit tight for me at the moment, and my criteria are perhaps a little strict.
I'm looking for an ISP that doesn't tie me to a fixed duration contract (although I might settle for 12 months at a push), I don't want to pay more than £14.00 a month (although ideally it will be £12.00 as I previously paid) and I do not want a download limit or "fair usage throttle."
Any advice would be appreciated; I guess I'm looking for another small ISP, as although they have a tendency to unexpectedly sink; they seem to charge less and provide better customer service. Unfortunately for me though it seems this couldn't have come at a worse time - BB provision seems to have skyrocketed in price of late.
Over the last 7 years I've subscribed to 3 different providers, all unlimited usage with no fixed term contract and all for £12.00. This time I'm struggling to find anything remotely close – and they all want to sell me phones and such.
